This was about the only boar bristle brush I could find with the shorter handle that makes it easier to pack around. I like the ergonomics of the handle which is really what brought me here.
I have a thick, dense, beard but also psoriasis that makes the skin sensitive. The really stiff bristles do a good job of penetrating all the way through the beard, but can hurt.
I have a brush (not sure if boar or something else) without the handle that does just as well but is softer. I was hoping this would have the same feel but, with the handle. That is all I was really looking for.
